The first of the last.

A longer post about Sports day xD the first of the last. As in, the first of the last events we'll be having since we'll be leaving school next year. Took me 5 years to love Sports Day :) Fry you make me prouuddddd.

Let's see. For raptai, I ganti'd Aida for Ed Board duty because her camera's in the shop xD Ahh, the joys of being the photographer. I was practically running with the participants D: it's like *run run run* *snap snap snap* and now I have roughly 1800 photos to sort through T_T those of you who asked for the photos, the album still hasn't been set up yet on the count of i'm a procrastinator. 'Kay? Don't worry darlings. It'll be up by atleast during the holidays. (as if that's any better xD)

Things that happened during raptai:
1) During Rachel's record breaking jump for lompat tinggi, I was taking photos. Unfortunately, for that particular jump, my battery camera suddenly ran out. What luck. :[ but I have photos of her jumping. Just...not sure which one is it xD

2) Had to secretly charge using the stadium's plug. @__@ I got away with it for about 2 hours, till it was lunch break and everyone was walking down. Miss K caught me sitting there xD I had to stop.

3) Discovered that one bottle of water isn't enough. Really.

4) Realized how lucky I am to be able to walk around during the events, instead of the poor people who were stuck at the grandstand, not allowed to do anything, or talk to friends from other houses. TIME WELL SPENT.

5) Egg sandwiches don't really make you less hungry.

6) People really love my camera xD

7) How much I love it when people let me take their photos.

I skipped school on Friday, but later discovered that they had the tarik tali event that day DDD: no pictures for that. But...it's kinda weird. It's like 8 hours isn't enough to do the events so they have to extend it to 2 weeks xD how unique our school is.

For the actual Sports Day. I loved it. The semangat people had xD especially when they were announcing the winners during upacara penutupan and stuff. But I couldn't get up and take pictures, was forced to sit down. So yeah. Only managed to get like 4-5 shots. Oh and got some candid shots of the umbrella being blown away xD I didn't even run to help, just started taking photos. Cheerleaders were great, as usual. Looked gedik, as usual. xD Oh well.

For the sekolah jemputan event (lelaki), as usual, it was freaky as hell. How fast can they run man D: the time it took for me to run from the middle of the field to the side is the same time they took to run around the whole track xD I barely got any good shots. Cehhh. Oh and later when I told Sabs that I wanted to take a photo of the runners but was too malu to do so, Eunice and Sabs started waving at them asking them to come down D: I was thinking 'omg what the eff' are you people doing? xD'. Anyway, some St. Xavier students were walking past us and Sabs called them while snapping her fingers in the air xD

Sabs: Excuse me *snaps fingers* you're the runners right? Can we take a picture? *points to me* D:
Me: o_o;
Them: Okay.

And they were nice enough to take out their school shirt (they had changed already by then) and the medals they won. Sabs heard something different though when I told her this xD

Sabs, you gatal gatal person.

And there were so many babies xD I found like 3-4 babies being carried around the grandstand. Hahaha. Mascots were cute. Adeline's costume looks sexeh. I don't get DZ's mascot xD they had a lion on a stick though. And the cartoon lion on their banner looks so...miang. @__@ Mahsuri's mascot (tara) was the best in my opinion. Cutest too. Nightingale and Cavell's mascots look awesome too.

Around 2 pm I was desperate for water. Apparently I was too late to use my coupon to get water (because apparently teachers who were sitting down needed 2-3 bottles of water each >_>;) and there weren't enough to go around. So my last resort? Put on my burnt, thirsty, pitiful face and went to the PBSM room to see Rachel xD she gave me a nice cold bottle of waterr :D

Some of the guests (as in the guys who came to see) were smoking -_- ew. I only managed to get one shot of the guest of honour and then I couldn't be bothered already xD it was so hard to get a good shot because those two men who are supposed to take pictures were hogging the spot. So don't care la. Went to take pictures of the runners.

My feet hurt now, but it was fun. REALLY fun. And I've managed to collect enough pictures for memories. Goal achieved.
